South Coast of Iceland

Description
Near the town of Vik in southern Iceland is about as close as one can get to a literal gold mine of photos, but photographing such a vast landscape can be tricky. On our day there, we happened to get some breaks in the clouds early in the morning and some nice mist coming off the water. Without the foreground elements of the rocks, the image lacks any kind of depth, leading to a difficult imagination of the size of this place.
